The IPWEAQ Board  is elected bi-annually from the Queensland membership and is made up of nine members:

• President
• Immediate Past-President ex officio
• Vice-President
  
• 6 Committee Members -4 of whom are Branch Presidents
  

Members can nominate to the Branches or the Board when elections are called.  Branch elections are held locally at their AGM, with the Board elections being held in conjunction with the State Conference AGM.
