Networking – Regular opportunities for practitioners to network with fellow practitioners are provided to discuss public works trends and processes. These include Branch, State and National Conferences, as well as skills development programs. Members are offered preferential rates for attendance at these functions. Scholarships – Members are provided the opportunity to access scholarships for study and study tours through the Foundation for Local Government Engineering. More
Committees – IPWEAQ has technical committees which review legislation and documentation for local and state government agencies. Members can nominate their areas of expertise and contribute to future policy and documentation.

Bulletin – The IPWEAQ Bulletin provides information on the activities being undertaken by the IPWEAQ Board, Executive, staff and members, as well as up to date information on legislation, skills development and the activities of our strategic partners. See past issues
IPWEAQ E-flash – Up to date information is emailed to members on a regular but non intrusive basis. The E-flash allows members to access specific links to information of interest, which is contained on the IPWEAQ and other organisations’ websites.
Public Works Engineering Magazine– Six national magazines are provided each year that discuss topical public works issues, and include information on upcoming conferences and other events.
Askyourmates.com.au – Members can be involved in an email exchange of problem solving for other members.
Discounts – Members and/or their organisations obtain a discount when attending Conferences and Skills Development programs, and also for some publications. Members also enjoy the benefits gained by attending IPWEAQ Conferences and Skills Development programs, with a discount on individual membership subscription rates every two years, depending on the number of programs accessed. Members can also benefit from discounted accommodation and travel.
